Tinkering again…

Can’t quite find a WordPress theme I’m happy with – think of this as an interim measure.  At least most of the widgets seem to be working and I’ve got rid of the white space at the top of the page.

My biggest problem was trying to remember how to get into net2ftp  – thank goodness for Gmail’s search abilities – managed to find my password after much swearing.  Have also upgraded WordPress and can’t see anything too obviously wrong at this end.

A new toy to play with is browsershots – the ability to check your site’s appearance in numerous browsers and sizes.  Excellent tool.

The blogroll now resides on it’s own page. I’m trying out this new Google Reader feed thing , but am still having difficulty getting it to work as I want it to.  If you’re not on there, don’t worry, I’m working on it.  I have some other pages I’m trying to create (bookshop, about page and I’m toying with the idea of a calendar for events) but I can’t get them to look right with this theme, so I’ve turned them off again.

Enjoy the lack of white space at the top of my page again…
