Del.icio.us.ness for January 13th
What caught my eye today, January 13th:
- Best-of-Breed RSS Readers Now Free - Newsgator is now FREE. There’s a strong possibility I will switch from Google Reader in 2008 (which usurped Bloglines during 2007)…
- what percentage of school buildings approved by his Department were built to the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (a) very good and (b) excellent standard in each of the last five years - BREEAM statistics for schools via the excellent They Work For You. Of 26, 15 get Excellent. 12 still to be rated.
- Morgan Lovell’s Sustainability Checklist for Offices - Decent list, but could do with more guidance on the first point - how exactly should we “Get your Board or key stakeholders to buy into the idea”?
- After the C&A eco store, REDEVCO now to develop green shopping centres - BREEAM is becoming more and more popular - turning up in press releases on a weekly basis these days…
- BREEAM: Does it make a difference or is it just a paper trail? - A forum discussion on the merits of BREEAM. Yes, it is a paper trail but yes, it does make a difference.
- New agency will have key regeneration role - More details emerging on the HCA, which will include ASC, as well as EP and HC. Joined up thinking - surely not?
- Materialicious - Another blog on materials and architecture - mostly residential , edited by Justin Anthony.
