Summer reading and listening

I’m thinking of asking for a wage from Building after the amount of copy they’ve had from me this summer ;o).

Yesterday saw a list of summer reading and listening. My job title is slightly wrong (I’m a Principal Consultant at Inbuilt, and not in the housing team).  I could pull a Giles Coren and kick up a fuss (not that I ever would, I’ve just been looking for an opportunity to link to Giles’ rant - warning not work friendly if your system has profanity filters).

And further to the books I’ve listed at the article above and prompted by Monday’s post, I’ve just picked up a copy of New Ideas from Dead Economists, a witty history of economics from Adam Smith onwards.  I’ve gotten as far as Malthus so far, so it might take me a while to get back to NEF’s New Green Deal…

Go on, have a rant.
We’ve corrected our blunder and added a few more recommendations to the list.
Shall we pay you in Amazon tokens?

I liked your use of LibraryThing for the article. Along with Bookmooch.com, it’s one of my pet book places on the web (which always seems counterintuitive, but totally isn’t)
