- AEC Magazine – Real Google Analytics – IES and Google SketchUp "Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) has already developed and given away a free environmental analysis tool for Revit customers. Now it has developed an environmental analysis tool for Google SketchUp, which is also free. Martyn Day talks to CEO, Don McLean about his company’s commitment to green design."
- Comparing methodologies for carbon footprinting distribution centres – "Carbon footprinting is carried out to allow developers and occupants to understand the greenhouse gas (GHG) or ‘carbon’ impacts of material manufacture and construction against the operation of a building as part of the whole building lifecycle. This paper compares two case studies of UK distribution centres developed by Gazeley and ProLogis and completed in 2007."
