I am absolutely delighted to have won the inaugral Sustainability Blogger of the Year at this week’s Sustainability Now virtual event.

The  judges at UBM (Liz Stanley, Phil Clark (Digital Director, UBM Built Environment), Anna Winston (Web Editor, Building Design), Iain O’Neil (Web Editor, Property Week) and Alex Smith (Web Editor, Building)) voted and had the following to say:

The judges felt that your insight and depth simply couldn’t be rivalled and the decision was unanimous.

Thank you very much – I shall wear the button on the blog with pride.

Awesome result, and absolutely deserved Mel. Your blog was one of the first I ever came across in this field, and has consistently been the best and most useful to keep me informed on sustainability issues, and on economics and the built environment. You have inspired me, and many many others, and this award should also act as the best ever THANK YOU from all your fans 🙂
