These are my links for December 17th through December 19th:
- Banyan: Asia’s alarming cities | The Economist – "Governments acknowledge the challenge. Green codes in China mandate energy-saving standards for heating, cooling and lighting new buildings. The aim is to cut new buildings’ energy use by 65%. But many new buildings are designed first and greened later—a cheaper but less effective approach."
- The Code for Sustainable Homes – Case Studies Volume 3 December 2010 – Planning, building and the environment – Department for Communities and Local Government – Four more case studies
- UK Energy Legislation Timeline – Via Joan Ko, a great visual summary of UK energy legislation from Arup. Prints out quite small at A3 – A1 would look great. Spotted one small error – they still have a 2011 potential CSH4 target – this is no longer happening… Which goes to prove tables like this change with the wind :o)
