Thanks to whoever alerted me to this great, short TED video. The goal is to harness wind power at 1,000 – 15,000m in the troposhere (much above where wind turbines currently operate). Which reminds me, I must dig out the flexifoil now the evenings are brighter…

Very ‘cool’ ideas at TED

Apologies for the pun. I try to keep up with all the interesting stuff that goes on over at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) and came across this great idea for a mini fridge which works with a wood burning stove, based on absorption chiller principles.
